Michael C. Thompson Public Policy Award

The Michael C. Thompson Public Policy Award was created in 2004 in memory of Michael C. Thompson of Whirlpool Corporation, this award recognizes extraordinary effort and accomplishment in the area of public policy affecting the home appliance industry. Recipients of this award can include individuals from member companies, AHAM staff members, governmental officials and other individuals whose efforts have had a positive impact on public policy and the home appliance industry.
