Stuart McLaren

IoT Marketing Manager, Americas Region, STMicroelectronics

 

Stuart McLaren is STMicroelectronics’ Americas Region IoT Marketing Manager and has held this position since 2016.

McLaren began his career as a Digital Signal Processing Engineering at Marconi Avionics in the UK. He later joined Inmos as a Product Marketing Engineer for High-Performance Memories and subsequently added Graphics to his perimeter. McLaren became part of the ST family when it acquired Inmos in 1989. In 1993, McLaren moved to ST in the US and has held Product Marketing management positions in graphics and then for the Microcontroller ecosystem. The Microcontroller ecosystem position has evolved to cover the entire IoT ecosystem with a focus on the Cloud, Processing, Connectivity and Sensing.

 Stuart McLaren earned a BSc in Physics from Imperial College, London.
