Heater Safety Educational Materials

In an effort to promote the safe use of
portable electric heaters, the Association of
Home Appliance Manufacturers (AHAM) is offering
a variety of educational materials as a part of
our annual Heater Safety Campaign. These
include AHAM’s safety brochures in English and
Spanish, and our new Safety Educator Tool Kits
that are geared towards Elementary School
Students.
The Tool Kits include a
list of talking points for educators, a
coloring page for kids, “Safety Superstar”
stickers to award to students and a notepad for
the educator to keep. There are enough
supplies for up to 30 students in each tool
kit.
