Debra K. Brunk is AHAM’s Vice President, Technical Services. Debra leads AHAM’s technical services department which oversees the development of the association’s voluntary performance rating standards for appliances, administers AHAM’s product rating verification programs; provides technical support for extensive regulatory advocacy issues and oversees cooperative research. She also oversees the department’s participation in external standards organizations. Debra joined AHAM in 2007 and previously served as AHAM’s Director, Technical Services. Prior to joining AHAM, Debra served as Senior Product Development Engineer at MeadWestvaco, an international paperboard and packaging company. She has held various technical and project management positions at MeadWestvaco since 1997. Debra earned a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University and holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and Petroleum Refining from the Colorado School of Mines. She is also Six Sigma Certified.
