Jennifer Cleary joined AHAM as the Director of Regulatory Affairs in July 2010. Jennifer works on a variety of regulatory issues and interfaces with Federal Agencies, including the Department of Energy and the Environmental Protection Agency. Prior to joining the AHAM, Ms. Cleary was an attorney at a Washington, D.C. law firm, where she specialized in antitrust law and product safety and acted as AHAM�s legal counsel. She also had an active pro bono practice, representing victims of domestic violence in the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. While in law school, she worked as a law clerk at the Department of Justice in the Office of Information and Privacy.Jennifer received her Bachelor�s Degree in English, with highest distinction, from the Pennsylvania State University and her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from American University�s Washington College of Law. Jennifer is admitted to the bars in the state of New York and the District of Columbia.
