The Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers is the trade
association that represents the interests of home appliance manufacturers around
the world. Its members include manufacturers of major and portable appliances,
floor care appliances and suppliers to the industry. Headquartered in
Washington, DC, AHAM is committed to enhancing product performance and global
growth of an industry that contributes many billions of dollars to the U.S.
economy alone.
Membership has its benefits. By joining AHAM, you will
not only re-affirm your commitment to the Appliance Industry, you will have
access to industry information that it not available anywhere else.

AHAM's appliance shipment reports provide the empirically
accurate data in our industry – more than 300 unique data reports that measure
trends, product characteristics, and product forecasts. As an AHAM member, you
can help shape these reports to increase your knowledge
base.
-
Our division-specific members-only monthly newsletter, Eye
on Engineering, pulls together the most pertinent technical information on
performance and safety standards and engineering issues in one easy-to-read
resource.
-
You'll also receive PLUG into AHAM, a
biweekly electronic newsletter – a coveted intelligence report – and AHAM's
Issues Book – two more ways to keep abreast of key industry issues and
meetings.
AHAM staff also works hard in other areas to ensure that
member's needs are met and intersts are represented.
AHAM has many technical activities, from writing and
maintaining AHAM performance testing standards to representing the views of
industry before the private standards development organizations. We inform our
members of new issues in the technical arena and conduct cooperative research
when appropriate.
