AHAM Location
AHAM’s office is located at 1111 19th Street, NW, between L and M Streets, NW. We are between the DuPont Circle Metro Stop and Farragut North Metro stops.
Metro Lines (Red and Blue and Orange)
DuPont Circle: Red
Line: Exit the Red Line
Metro at DuPont Circle and take the 19th Street
Exit, South. You will come up the
escalator, continuing walking in the same
direction that you come off the escalator, you
are heading south. Walk two blocks south
and you will be at M Street, N.W., cross M
Street and continue walking south for one half
of a block. AHAM’s office is in the
middle of the block on 19th Street on the
left. (You can see a parking garage (PMI)
and the US Passport Agency which are located in
the building.)
Farragut North: Red
Line: Exit the Red Line
Metro at Farragut North, Connecticut and L
Street Ext. As you come up the escalator,
walk in the same direction as you come up the
escalator to the corner (about 20 feet) (you
are walking north). Make a left turn at
the corner – you are on L Street. Stay on
L Street for two blocks until you reach 19th
Street, turn right on 19th Street and walk one
half of a block to AHAM’s office. You are
heading north on 19th Street. AHAM’s
office is between L Street and M Street,
N.W.
Farragut West: Blue and Orange lines stop
here: Walk towards the 18th and I Streets
exit. Walk in the same direction as you come up
the elevator for two blocks. You will
cross K Street and the next street is L
Street. At L and 18th Street, make a left
and walk one block to 19th Street. Cross
the street at L and walk north for one half a
block. AHAM’s office is between L Street
and M Streets.
Metro from Ronald Reagan
National Airport to get to AHAM
Take the
Blue Line at
National Airport and exit at Farragut West,
18th and I Streets, N.W. See
above.
From Dulles International
Airport (IAD).
Washington Flyer buses leave
the Terminal every 30 minutes and run to West
Falls Church metro station on the Metro Orange Line in 25 minutes.

From West Falls Church Metro take the Orange Line to Farragut
West (as above).
There is also a direct bus service 5A from Dulles Airport to L’Enfant Plaza Metro Station downtown, leaving Dulles at 30 minutes past each hour until 2.30 p. m. and thereafter at 40 minutes past each hour. At L’Enfant Plaza take a Blue Line train towards Franconia/Springfield or an Orange Line train towards Vienna and get off at Farragut West (as above).
3) From Baltimore/Washington International Airport (BWI).
By cab, fare not less than
$60.00, travel time around 50 minutes.
By
Supershuttle (shared van service), fare around
$30.00 but travel time very unpredictable as
they sometimes keep you waiting a long time
before they leave, then run all over the city
before getting to your destination. Details at

By
train. Take a free shuttle bus from outside the
terminal to BWI Rail Station (usually about 20
minutes including wait time). MARC commuter
trains leave at least once an hour, take 40
minutes to Washington Union Station. For
