How Do I Apply?
To be eligible for memebership within AHAM, a company must:
- Manufacture specified products
- Have introduced the products into commerce in the United States
- Have a legal presence in the United States
Major Appliance Division
The Major Appliance Division (MAD) represents manufacturers of large home appliances such as refrigerators, laundry and cooking equipment, dishwashers, disposer, compactors, room air conditioners, dehumidifiers, wine coolers, warming drawers, portable or spot air conditioners, and built-in hot water dispensers.

Portable Appliance Division
The Portable Appliance Division (PAD)
represents manufacturers of portable home
appliances such as kitchen electrics, home
comfort (room air cleaners, humidifiers,
heaters and fans), and personal care
appliances.

Floor Care Division
The Floor Care Division (FCD) represents
manufacturers of electrical floor care
appliances such as vacuum cleaners, floor
scrubbers, carpet shampoo and extractors, and
central vacuum cleaners.

Supplier Division
The Suppler Division represents manufactures of components, materials, and services that are used by the Original Equipment Manufactures within the other three divisions.

General Information
Dues for each Division are based on Annual Sales of product in the United States.
The Major, Portable and Floor Care Divisions meet two times a year, in the spring at the Annual Member Meeting, and in the fall. AHAM Supplier Division members are encouraged to attend these division meetings.
