Business Data

The Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers is the primary source of statistics on the production and shipment of major appliances in the United States and Canada. It administers detailed factory shipment and inventory data programs on behalf of the industry but the preponderance of the data is available on a "participants only" basis.

AHAM also releases some monthly reports to the public which summarize industry activity on a product or product category level for the US only. These reports are made available through the press or on a subscription basis.

US Import and Export Data
Data is collected by the U.S. Dept of Commerce, Bureau of the Census and reported by Trade Resources.
