WEEE and RoHS Regulations
The European Union’s Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive is a producer responsibility law that requires manufacturers of electronic and appliance products to manage the proper disposal and recycling of products at the end of their useful life. AHAM staff serve as a resource for the membership in understanding the dimensions of the program as well as providing information on implementation.
