Consumer Product Safety

The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) monitors the safety of consumer products.  AHAM works closely with the CPSC on commenting on many of its activities including research reports, efforts to improve recall effectiveness, and the overall reform of the agency's activities.  In serving as a representative of the industry, AHAM provides comments to the CPSC on its research, and presents the industry's concerns and comments on a variety of issues.
