Technical Services

AHAM provides technical services to its members in the following areas:

• Development of AHAM performance standards, and involvement with many other standards development organizations
• Certification programs for the independent verification of performance characteristics
• Pre-competitive research through its Appliance Research Consortium
• Technical support for regulatory and public policy issues
• Technical support for outside standards development (i.e.U.L., IEC,ANSI, NEC...)
