Program Scope
All manufacturers who distribute goods in the U.S. may participate in the AHAM Certification Programs, whether or not they are AHAM members. The programs are financially supported by participant fees and are separate from AHAM dues funded programs.
The Program provides a uniform and commercially practical verification of manufacturers’ certified water removal capacity and energy factor (EF) for household dehumidifiers that are rated at between 110 and 120 volts with a maximum rating of 16 amps.
