IEC/SC 59M, Performance of electrical household and similar cooling and freezing appliances
Scope: Standardization in the field of performance of electrical household and similar cooling and freezing appliances such as refrigerators, frozen-food storage cabinets and food freezers. To elaborate characteristics and test methods for performance, environmental issues and accessibility. This includes specifying the essential characteristics for commercial refrigerating appliances cooled by internal natural convection or forced air circulation, which are factory assembled, laying down the methods of test for the checking of these characteristics.
