Letter from Joseph McGuire, AHAM President and CEO Addressing the Global Semiconductor Shortage

WASHINGTON, D.C. (February 25, 2021) – In a letter to President Biden, signed by AHAM President and CEO Joseph McGuire, AHAM addressed the global semiconductor shortage. The letter seeks an immediate increase in global production of semiconductors to ensure home appliances continue to be available to meet the increased usage demand that has been exacerbated by the pandemic.  In addition, we are asking for semiconductors to be fairly allocated across sectors.
