AHAM Location
AHAM’s office is located at 1111 19th Street, NW, Suite 1150, between L and M Streets, NW. We are between the DuPont Circle Metro Stop and Farragut North Metro stops.
Metro Lines (Red and Blue and Orange)
DuPont Circle: Red Line: Exit the Red Line Metro at DuPont Circle and take the 19th Street Exit, South. You will come up the escalator, continue walking in the same direction that you come off the escalator, you are heading south. Walk two blocks south and you will be at M Street, NW, cross M Street and continue walking south for one half of a block. AHAM’s office is in the middle of the block on 19th Street on the left. (Look for the alley and a parking garage (PMI) on the left side.)
Farragut North: Red Line: Exit the Red Line Metro at Farragut North, take the Connecticut and L Street exit. As you come up the escalator, walk in the same direction as you come up the escalator to the corner (about 20 feet) (you are walking north). Make a left turn at the corner – you are on L Street. Stay on L Street for two blocks until you reach 19th Street, turn right on 19th Street and walk one half of a block to AHAM’s office. You are heading north on 19th Street. AHAM’s office is between L Street and M Street, NW
Farragut West: Blue and Orange lines stop here. Using the 18th and I Streets exit. Walk in the same direction as you come up the elevator for two blocks. You will cross K Street and the next street is L Street. At L and 18th Street, make a left and walk one block to 19th Street. Cross the street at L and walk north for one half a block. AHAM’s office is between L Street and M Streets.
Using the 19th and K Streets exit. As you come up the escalator, turn left and you will see a building entrance into a Food Court. Walk through this area and you will see an exit -- this exit is at 19th and K Streets. Take the escalator up, you are walking north, and walk north for one block and a half. AHAM's office is on the right side of 19th Street as you are walking north.
Washington, DC Airports-Transportation
Ronald Reagan National Airport (DCA)
DCA is 5 miles from Washington DC and located in Virginia. Cab fare is $20 one way. Using Metro, take the Blue Line from National Airport and exit at Farragut West, 18th and I Streets, N.W. See above.
Dulles International Airport (IAD)
IAD is 25 miles from Washington and located in Virginia. A cab ride could take up to an hour depending on traffic, and will cost approximately $65 one way.
Baltimore/Washington International Airport (BWI)
BWI is about 40 miles from Washington DC and is located in Maryland. The ride from this airport is dependent on traffic and may take up to an hour. A taxi will cost approximately $72 one-way.
