Kevin Messner Bids Farewell to AHAM

Kevin Messner

After 17 years of dedicated service to the home appliance industry, Kevin Messner, AHAM’s Executive VP and Chief Policy Officer, has announced his departure to pursue an exciting new opportunity in Washington, D.C. for Groupe SEB. Kevin’s last day with AHAM will be February 21.

Kevin has been instrumental in shaping policies that have supported growth and innovation for the home appliance industry. Kevin joined AHAM in 2008 and has successfully led the industry’s legislative and regulatory advocacy efforts and policy development in the U.S. and Canada. AHAM has made many significant state and federal policy accomplishments under Kevin’s leadership. His strategic guidance and policy expertise will be greatly missed.

Kevin Messner

This change arrives at a pivotal moment for federal and state legislative developments affecting our sector. The expertise of our government affairs team is essential to our ongoing success. As we begin the search for his successor we will continue to share updates.

AHAM is grateful to Kevin for both the tangible successes he amassed for the industry and his steady leadership and mentorship. Please join us in wishing Kevin the very best in his next role!
